Amy Peterson has a diverse work experience spanning over the years. Amy started their career as a Research Analyst at Optimal Solutions Group LLC in July 2006 and worked there until June 2008. Subsequently, they joined NAEYC as a Graduate Intern in October 2008 and stayed until May 2010. Continuing their research career, they joined American Institutes for Research (AIR) in May 2010 and initially held the position of Research Associate until May 2013. Amy then transitioned into a role as a Researcher at AIR, where they are currently employed.

Amy Peterson earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from St. Lawrence University, where they studied from 2002 to 2006. Later, they went on to pursue a Master of Arts degree in Education Policy at The George Washington University, completing their studies from 2008 to 2010.
