Dave English

Dave English is an experienced technology professional with a strong background in software architecture and research. Currently serving as Principal Applications Architect at the American Institutes for Research since October 2021, Dave manages the data warehouse for the Famine Early Warning System Network (FEWS NET). Previously, Dave held similar roles at Kimetrica and as Chief Technical Officer at Raptor Digital Marketing Tools, where responsibilities included overseeing software development and creating a scalable cloud-based application for SEO analysis. Dave's research experience includes positions at prestigious institutions such as the University of Cambridge, University College London, and Leibniz Universität Hannover, focusing on semiconductor physics and machine learning algorithms. Dave holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Southampton, as well as a Master of Physics (MPhys) in Astronomy from Harvard University.
