Dr. Christy Cantú Brooks

Dr. Christy Cantú Brooks is a seasoned educator and consultant in education systems and policy, currently working with the American Institutes for Research since May 2023. With extensive experience in various educational roles, Dr. Brooks serves as an adjunct instructor at both Lindenwood University and Delta State University, and as a student teaching supervisor at Saint Louis University. Previous positions include math consultant and assistant principal at La Salle Charter Middle School, as well as instructional support leader and instructional coach in the Ferguson-Florissant School District. Dr. Brooks' expertise spans STEM, educational technology, teacher preparation, and coaching, complemented by professional contributions to the field through numerous educational consultancies. Dr. Brooks holds an EdD in Educational/Instructional Technology from Walden University and multiple degrees in educational leadership and curriculum development.
