Karen Manship

Karen Manship is a seasoned education researcher and director with extensive experience in early childhood education initiatives. Currently serving as Managing Director and Principal Researcher at the American Institutes for Research since December 2005, Karen has led significant projects including the $7.5 million First 5 California Dual Language Learner Pilot Study and evaluation of the Duke Endowment's Summer Literacy Initiative. Prior roles include project management and analytical positions at various organizations such as Family Connections, the Human Services Policy Center, and the National Center for Education Statistics. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Urban Affairs and Public Policy from the University of Delaware and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Wake Forest University.
