Katharyn Peterman has a diverse work experience spanning from 2016 to 2023. Katharyn began their career as a Program Management Intern at NV5 in 2016. In the same year, they also served as an Editor in Chief at The Oredigger, a publication at Colorado School of Mines. From 2016 to 2018, Katharyn worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Re-inventing the Nation's Urban Water Infrastructure (ReNUWIt). In 2017, they gained experience as an Engineering Intern at Tza Water Engineers Inc. Continuing their academic career, from 2018 to 2022, Katharyn served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and later a Communications and Marketing Coordinator at Colorado State University. Katharyn further expanded their skills as a Publisher Intern at Flytedesk in 2019. In 2022, they took on the role of Manager, Marketing and Communications at Translational Health Research - Texas State University. Most recently, Katharyn joined the American Institutes for Research in 2023 as a Communications Associate.

Katharyn Peterman completed their Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines between the years 2014 and 2018. Katharyn then went on to pursue a Master of Science (MS) in Public Communications and Technology at Colorado State University from 2018 to 2021.
