Kerrina Smart

Communications Associate at American Institutes for Research

Kerrina Smart has a diverse range of work experience in communications, event management, administrative management, museum assistance, and visitor services. They worked as a Communications Associate at the American Institutes for Research from December 2017 to the present, where they also served as an Event Manager and Administrative Manager in previous roles. Prior to that, Kerrina worked as a Museum Assistant at The Phillips Collection from October 2013 to February 2019. They also held positions at the National Children's Museum, where they were an Assistant Manager of Visitor Services from July 2013 to May 2014 and a Visitor Services Associate from February 2013 to July 2013. Additionally, Kerrina worked as an Exhibition and Collections Intern at the Smithsonian Institution, Museum of Natural History from September 2011 to the present.

Kerrina Smart attended Walter Johnson High School from 2003 to 2007, where they graduated. After completing their high school education, they enrolled at the University of Glasgow, where they studied Historical Studies from 2008 to 2011. Kerrina earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree with Merit during their time at the university.
