Lauren Focarazzo

Lauren Focarazzo is vice president of business development at AIR. In this role, she works closely with program and infrastructure leadership to ensure seamless collaboration across the institution. Focarazzo oversees business development operations, market and competitive intelligence, proposal management, pricing, and pre-award functions. As the leader of the business development team, she is responsible for ensuring that AIR remains flexible and focused on strategic growth in its pursuit efforts.

Throughout her nearly 20 years of experience, Focarazzo has worked with hundreds of funders, including many federal agencies such as the U.S. Departments of Agriculture, Education, Health and Human Services, and Labor, and the U.S. Agency for International Development; state and local governments; and foundations and non-governmental organizations.

Prior to joining AIR, Focarazzo worked in the U.S. Department of Labor’s Employment and Training Administration, supporting the Agency’s public affairs office.
