Lisa Lachlan-Hache

Lisa Lachlan-Hache is a seasoned educational researcher and leader currently serving as Managing Director at the American Institutes for Research since April 2022, after a tenure as Principal Research Scientist from 2009 to June 2022. Expertise includes enhancing educational decision-making and actions for school reform, with a focus on teacher quality issues such as effectiveness, retention, and professional learning. Prior roles include Researcher at the New Teacher Center, where Lisa studied new teacher support's impact on practice and student achievement, and lecturer positions at various universities, teaching courses in educational psychology and teaching theory. Lisa's academic foundation includes a Ph.D. in Leadership, Educational Psychology, and Foundations from Northern Illinois University.
