Varsha Menon

Varsha Menon has a strong background in research and analysis. Varsha currently works as a Quantitative Research Associate at the American Institutes for Research, where they assist with data cleaning and analysis for domestic and international projects. Varsha also has experience in qualitative data collection through conducting and transcribing interviews for the Wallace Foundation's Advancing Opportunities for Adolescents Initiative.

Prior to their current role, Varsha worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the US Advisory Commission on Public Diplomacy and as a Social Media Manager at Blue Future + the Youth Progressive Action Catalyst. Varsha was also the President of the Georgetown Anti Poverty Society (GAPS), where they led the organization in advocating for poverty alleviation.

Varsha has worked on various research projects at the Navanti Group, including an M&E project on DDRR programming in the Lake Chad Basin region and a project identifying key vendors for the US military in Turks and Caicos Islands. Varsha also interned at Navanti Group and Adapt-Consult LLC as a Researcher and a Consultant Intern, respectively.

Additionally, Varsha has gained experience in the field of international affairs through roles at PeaceTech Lab and the Georgetown Journal of International Affairs. Varsha served as a Special Projects Intern at PeaceTech Lab and held editorial positions at the Georgetown Journal of International Affairs, including Print Editor in Chief, Staff Editor, and Editorial Assistant.

Varsha's educational background includes being a SFS Undergraduate Scholar and an MSFS Fellow at Georgetown University Walsh School of Foreign Service. Varsha also interned at The Roosevelt Group, where they gained experience in policy analysis and research.

Varsha Menon has a strong educational background with a focus on International Development and International Political Economy. Varsha earned their Master's degree in International Development from Georgetown University's Walsh School of Foreign Service, graduating in 2022. Prior to this, they completed their Bachelor's degree in International Political Economy at the same institution, in the years 2017 to 2021.

Varsha also pursued additional educational opportunities to enhance their knowledge in specific areas. In 2019, they undertook studies in French Politics at the Chambre de Commerce et d'Industries. In the same year, they furthered their understanding of French through French Studies at L'Institut de Touraine.
