Anita Simpson

Anita Lauren S. serves as the Head of School at the American International School of Hong Kong, focusing on maintaining the school’s vision and fostering a culture of learning and innovation from Early Childhood to Grade 12. Previous roles include Elementary Principal at Dubai American Academy, where Anita led the merger of two schools into a new campus and introduced innovative educational tools, and Superintendent of Program and Innovation at Simcoe County District School Board, emphasizing collaboration to enhance educational quality for K-12 students. Anita holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Arts in Education from the University of Phoenix and completed the Executive Leadership Program at the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management. Recognition includes the 2017 ORION Leadership Award for K-12 Innovation in Ontario.
