Rebekah Goshorn Jurata currently serves as General Counsel for the American Investment Council (AIC) since April 2022. Previously, Rebekah was a Board Member at the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) from 2019 to 2021 and held the role of Special Assistant to the President for Financial Policy at the National Economic Council from September 2018 to November 2019. Rebekah's experience also includes serving as Deputy Assistant Secretary for International Financial Markets at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, Senior Securities Counsel at the US Congress, and Counsel to Commissioner Gallagher at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Rebekah has held various positions within the SEC, including Special Counsel in the Division of Trading and Markets and Counsel to the Director of the same division. Rebekah began their career as a research analyst at SPAWAR. Rebekah holds a law degree from the University of San Diego School of Law, a Master's in International Policy and Affairs from UC San Diego, and Bachelor's degrees in Management Science and Political Science from the University of California, San Diego.
