Karl Marcotte has extensive work experience in various industries. Karl then worked as a Nuclear Waste Management Division Coop at Ontario Power Generation, where they reviewed drawings and analyzed axle scrub for a new truck mover.

Marcotte then joined Gerdau North America, where they held multiple roles including Engineer I, Engineer II, Melt Shop Routine Facilitator II, Engineer III, Engineer IV, and Shredder Manager. In these positions, they worked on various projects related to capital expense engineering and steel recycling, including the replacement of outdated equipment and the implementation of new processes.

Most recently, Marcotte worked as the Director of Operations at American Iron & Metal (AIM), where they oversee operations and ensures efficient functioning of the company.
