Blanche Norman is an experienced nonprofit professional with a strong background in grants and institutional giving. Currently serving as the Manager of Grants and Institutional Giving at JDC (The Joint) since July 2024, Blanche previously held the position of Senior Development Officer at The New Press, where responsibilities included leading foundation relations and drafting major proposals. Prior to that role, Blanche was the Manager of Foundation Relations at The New Press and the Institutional Funding Officer at Aperture Foundation, focusing on grant strategies for various projects. Additional experience includes consulting as a Non-Profit Consultant, serving as Development Director at Educational Video Center, and directing grants services at Laurence A. Pagnoni & Associates. Blanche holds an MA in Arts and Non-Profit Administration from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a BS in Psychology from Bard College.
