Margo Mullinax

Director of Strategic Learning, Research, and Evaluation at American Jewish World Service (AJWS)

Margo Mullinax has a diverse work experience spanning multiple organizations and roles. Margo started their career as a Peace Corps Volunteer from September 2006 to April 2009. After that, they worked as a Research and Communications Assistant at Columbia University from October 2009 to August 2010. Margo then joined the Kinsey Institute as a Blog Contributor from August 2011 to May 2014. During the same period, from January 2012 to June 2014, they also worked at Indiana University Bloomington as an Accreditation Coordinator and Associate Instructor and Research Coordinator. From May 2013 to May 2014, they worked as an Adjunct Professor at Widener University. Margo then worked as a Research Assistant at the New York City Department of Health & Mental from November 2014 to December 2015, and as a Research Consultant at the United Nations Children Fund from December 2014 to July 2015. From August 2014 to April 2016, they served as an NRSA Postdoctoral Behavioral Sciences Fellow in HIV at Columbia University. Finally, Margo Mullinax joined the American Jewish World Service (AJWS) in April 2016 as the Director of Strategic Learning, Research, and Evaluation.

Margo Mullinax began their education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in International/Global Studies from 2000 to 2003. Margo then pursued a Master's degree in Public Health at Columbia University, completing their studies from 2009 to 2011. Following this, Margo attended Indiana University Bloomington to earn their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Behavioral Aspects of Health, studying from 2011 to 2014. Lastly, they pursued a postgraduate degree at Columbia University from 2014 to 2015. The specific field of study for their postgraduate degree is not provided.
