Brent VanFleet has extensive experience in financial management and operations within the golf industry, currently serving as the Manager of Tournament Finance at the American Junior Golf Association since May 2018. Responsibilities include overseeing tournament and state cup finances, preparing and approving budgets, and conducting financial analysis to monitor event performance. Brent previously held roles as Purchasing Manager and Purchasing Coordinator, where focus was on streamlining operations and vendor relationships for numerous junior golf tournaments. Early career experience includes a Finance Intern position at AJGA and over eight years at ClubCorp, where Brent excelled as Head Golf Professional, implementing successful merchandising strategies and managing a substantial budget. Brent holds a Bachelor's Degree in Finance and an Associate's Degree in Communication from the University of North Georgia.
American Junior Golf Association
The American Junior Golf Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the overall growth and development of young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships through competitive junior golf. The AJGA conducts more than 100 tournaments annually for talented junior golfers who intend to play college golf. Through AJGA events, college coaches gain valuable recruiting information to help them find the players best suited for their teams. As these juniors receive college golf scholarships and move on to the next level, it is the fulfillment of the AJGA's mission.
