Jenni Muns has a diverse work experience. Jenni most recently worked as the Associate Director of Communications at the American Kidney Fund, starting in July 2022. Before that, they held the same position at Medicaid Health Plans of America (MHPA) from February 2021 to June 2022. Prior to their roles in communications, they served as the Press Secretary for Congresswoman Ann McLane Kuster (NH-02) in the U.S. House of Representatives from August 2016 to February 2021. Jenni also worked as a Program Coordinator at the Public Leadership Education Network (PLEN) from December 2015 to August 2016. In addition, they volunteered with Jews United for Justice as a D.C. Paid Family Leave Advocacy Volunteer from May 2015 to February 2016. Furthermore, they have interned at NEA as a Communications Center Politics and Advocacy Intern from January 2015 to May 2015, and at the American Federation of Teachers as an International Affairs Intern from May 2014 to December 2014. Prior to their internships, they worked as a babysitter for a DC Family home from September 2012 to May 2014. Jenni also gained experience as a Communications Intern at the Democratic National Committee from May 2013 to August 2013 and worked as a Freelance Blogger at Patch.com from July 2011 to July 2013.
Jenni Muns began their education at Winnacunnet High School, where they obtained their High School Diploma in 2009. Following this, they attended American University from 2009 to 2013, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Journalism. In 2012, they also had a brief experience at FIE: Foundation for International Education. Later, from 2013 to 2015, Jenni pursued their Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Political Communication at American University.
