Dan Kaplan is an experienced marketing professional with a strong background in the publishing and advertising industries. Currently serving as Marketing Manager for the American Library Association's Publishing Division, Kaplan oversees subscription management for Booklist magazine and Booklist Online, while previously managing ecommerce and email marketing initiatives. Prior roles include Marketing Director at Publishers Row, where Kaplan supported academic and professional publishers, and a founding partner at KTdid, Inc., focusing on marketing for small businesses and artists. Kaplan's earlier experience includes positions as Online Advertising Manager at the Chicago Reader and Interactive Services Manager at the Chicago Sun-Times. Kaplan holds a BA in Journalism from Indiana University Bloomington.
