Steven Hofmann

Steven Hofmann is a skilled professional with extensive experience in digital product management and communications within the American Library Association. Currently serving as a Network Playwright at Chicago Dramatists since August 2022, Hofmann has held the position of Digital Product Manager for the Public Library Association since April 1997, where responsibilities include managing the production of webinars and maintaining web properties. Previous roles include Associate Editor for the ALA Digital Reference, coordinating the editorial and technical development of the first online edition of the ALA’s Guide to Reference, and managing communications for the American Association of School Librarians. Steven Hofmann holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre from Illinois Wesleyan University and has furthered education at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
