Nancy Fowlkes

National Patient Advocate at American Liver Foundation

Nancy Fowlkes is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in patient advocacy and community service. Currently serving as the National Patient Advocate at the American Liver Foundation since August 2016, Nancy promotes education and awareness for liver diseases like NAFLD and NASH. As a volunteer for Donate Life America since December 2015, Nancy shares a personal transplant story to encourage organ donation. Previous roles include Drug and Alcohol Counselor II at WestCare Foundation and an internship with the Roane County Sheriff. In addition, Nancy has experience as a Teacher Assistant at Oak Ridge High School, working with both high school and preschool students. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a minor in Legal Studies from Tennessee Wesleyan University and an Associate of Applied Science in Criminal Justice from Roane State Community College.
