Eric Thalen

Eric Thalen has over 16 years of work experience in the maritime industry. Eric started their career as a Compressor Operator at Kemps LLC in April 2002. Eric then worked as a Chief Engineer at Bouchard Transportation Co., Inc. from October 2002 to July 2006, where they gained experience in sailing on ocean-going tugboats, dry docking, shipyard experiences, and new build construction final inspections. From August 2006 to August 2018, they served as the First Assistant Engineer at Maersk Line, Limited. Eric is currently working as the Chief Engineer at American Maritime Officers, starting in August 2006.

Eric Thalen attended the State University of New York Maritime College from 1996 to 2000, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Facility Engineering.
