James Louer Jr.

Second Assistant Engineer at American Maritime Officers

James Louer Jr. is a marine engineer with extensive experience in maritime operations. Currently serving as a Second Assistant Engineer at American Maritime Officers and SubCom since November 2020, James has also held the position of Third Assistant Engineer at both companies. Prior experience includes a role as an Engine Cadet with Maersk Line, Limited in 2018, where responsibilities included routine maintenance and engine room procedures aboard the M/V Maersk Chicago. James holds a degree in Marine Engineering from the State University of New York Maritime College, earned between 2016 and 2020, along with a USCG 3rd assistant engineer license.
