Steven L. McKeel

Steven L. McKeel is an experienced geologist with a strong background in environmental development and natural resources management. Currently serving as VP of Environmental Development at American Materials Company, LLC since August 2018, Steven has previously held significant roles such as Division Geologist at Imerys and Division Manager at Martin Marietta Materials. Over a career spanning from 1981, Steven has engaged in geologic mapping, land acquisition negotiations, and geochemical exploration in various capacities at well-known firms, demonstrating expertise in mining operations and geological modeling. Steven earned a degree in Geology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
