Rachel Fender is a seasoned bibliographic and content acquisition professional with extensive experience in academic and library settings. Currently serving as a Senior Bibliographic Specialist at the American Mathematical Society since September 2015, Rachel previously held the position of Bibliographic Specialist. Prior to this, Rachel worked at ProQuest as a Content Acquisitions Specialist II from October 2010 to September 2015, where responsibilities included maintaining title updates and training employees on FTP software. Rachel's background also includes a role as a Librarian Tech at the WiderNet Project from 2006 to 2009, focusing on sourcing electronic resources for the eGranary Digital Library. Additionally, Rachel gained experience as a Teaching Assistant at Windover High School from September 2004 to April 2006, providing one-on-one tutoring in math and science. Rachel earned a Master's degree in Library and Information Science and a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from the University of Iowa.
