Aleesha Shaik, MD, MPH, currently serves as the Medical Student Section Vice Chair and Region 6 Chair at the American Medical Association, facilitating communication and events among medical schools in several states. Additionally, Aleesha holds the position of Medical Student Section Chair at the Pennsylvania Medical Society, promoting intercollegiate communication and initiatives aimed at enhancing healthcare and medical education in Pennsylvania. As the MPH-45 Representative for the Harvard Chan Student Association, Aleesha advocates for the needs of the MPH-45 cohort and organizes networking events. Aleesha's educational background includes a Master of Public Health in Health Policy from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, a Doctor of Medicine from Drexel University College of Medicine, and a Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Cellular Biology and French from The Johns Hopkins University.
