Andy Rekito

Andy Rekito is an accomplished Manager and Senior Medical Illustrator at the American Medical Association since December 2016, leveraging extensive experience in medical illustration to collaborate with physicians and researchers. Prior to this role, Andy served as a Medical Illustrator and Assistant Professor at Oregon Health and Science University from July 2005 to December 2016, and as a Medical Illustrator and Assistant Adjunct Professor at the Medical College of Georgia at Georgia Regents University from September 2002 to June 2005. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Medical Illustration from the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Scientific Illustration from the University of Georgia.
