Diana Lemos is an accomplished professional in evaluation and research with extensive experience in public health and program evaluation. Currently serving as the Director of Evaluation and Learning at the American Medical Association since March 2020, Diana previously held various roles including Independent Evaluation and Research Professional and Impact and Evaluation Senior Associate at the Obama Foundation. Diana has led significant initiatives in HIV prevention, community outreach, and health disparities, collaborating with multiple organizations such as the AIDS Foundation of Chicago and the Hektoen Institute. With a Ph.D. in Community Psychology from DePaul University, Diana combines academic rigor with practical expertise, effectively managing diverse research projects and fostering capacity building in underserved communities.
