Deepti Pandita is the Director at American Medical Informatics Association. Deepti has over fifteen years of experience in the healthcare industry, with a focus on analytics and technology innovation.

Deepti began their career as a medical doctor, working at Hennepin County Medical Center. Deepti then transitioned into a role as the Chair of Physician Informatics and EMR Clinician Champion at Park Nicollet Health Services. In this role, they served as a liaison between clinicians and CMIO/Operational leaders.

Most recently, they worked as the head of the analytics practice at Hennepin Healthcare. In this role, they led projects for technology innovation, solution development, and business process automation to improve healthcare administration and clinical operations. Deepti also partnered with the Chief Information Officer to build strategies for robust, transformational business solutions.

During their career, they have driven several large-scale initiatives, including an enterprise Epic EMR implementation that was completed 3 months ahead of schedule. Deepti has also won the Young Physician Leadership Award.

Deepti Pandita has completed a MBBS from Christian Medical College Vellore, an Internal Medicine Residency from UND School of Medicine & Health Sciences, and a Clinical Informatics 10X10 from Oregon Health Sciences University. Deepti is currently a Chief Resident in the Internal Medicine Residency Program at University of North Dakota.
