Meghal Gandhi

Meghal Gandhi is a seasoned professional in the field of data science and engineering, currently serving as a Technical Reviewer for Manning Publications Co. and Packt, as well as a Frontiers Peer Reviewer and an AMIA Peer Reviewer. Since November 2017, work has been focused on a NIH-funded machine learning project at Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science aimed at detecting Diabetic Retinopathy, utilizing Python for data processing and R for model comparison. Previous experience includes a Data Engineering Fellowship at Insight Data Science, where a pipeline was developed to analyze trending business sectors using Spark and PostgreSQL, and a Software Engineer Consultant role at AT&T, contributing to a Big Data project for HDD Health Monitoring. Meghal Gandhi holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from California State University, Fullerton and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering from Dharmsinh Desai University.
