Magda Wojtara is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in medical education, nonprofit leadership, and community service. Currently serving as the PharmFree/Just Medicine National Campaign Co-Chair for the American Medical Student Association, Magda advocates for an education free from pharmaceutical industry influences. As the Founder and Executive Director of General Intelligence(s), a nonprofit organization, Magda has helped over 28,000 young adults from marginalized backgrounds develop essential life skills. Magda also holds roles in various organizations, including Global Engagement Coordinator at the University of Michigan Global Scholars Program and committee member of the Detroit VITALS Free Clinic. Magda's educational background includes pursuing a Doctor of Medicine degree at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and a Master’s in Human Genetics at the University of Michigan.

American Medical Student Association (AMSA) is a student-governed national organization. The main purpose of the organization was to provide medical students a chance to participate in organized medicine. The American Medical Student Association is the only medical student organization. The American Medical Student Association deals with medical student activism. AMSA is astudent-governed national organization committed to representing the concerns of physicians-in-training. AMSA members are medical students, premedical students, interns, residents, and practising physicians. AMSA continues its commitment to improving medical training and the nation's health. As believers in progress, not just in medical science but in growing our understanding of how environmental and social determinants, for instance, impact health, AMSA has continued to evolve and respond to the times.
