Shadrack Osei Frimpong is a distinguished professional with extensive experience in community health and education initiatives, currently serving as Co-President for the Yale Med Chapter of the American Medical Student Association since February 2024. As Founder and Chairman of Mundaly, Frimpong successfully closed a $2 million angel round while focusing on community well-being reporting. In addition, Frimpong founded Cocoa360 Care, which has pioneered a community insurance program in rural Africa, and served as President for The African Research Academies for Women, aiming to enhance female representation in science across the continent. Frimpong's academic credentials include current studies at Yale School of Medicine, a PhD from the University of Cambridge, and a Master of Public Health from Yale University, among other qualifications. American Medical Student Association
American Medical Student Association (AMSA) is a student-governed national organization. The main purpose of the organization was to provide medical students a chance to participate in organized medicine. The American Medical Student Association is the only medical student organization. The American Medical Student Association deals with medical student activism. AMSA is astudent-governed national organization committed to representing the concerns of physicians-in-training. AMSA members are medical students, premedical students, interns, residents, and practising physicians. AMSA continues its commitment to improving medical training and the nation's health. As believers in progress, not just in medical science but in growing our understanding of how environmental and social determinants, for instance, impact health, AMSA has continued to evolve and respond to the times.
