Bill Beers

Bill Beers has a diverse work experience spanning over several organizations. Bill is currently the Director of Finance and Administration at American Medical Technologists, a position they assumed in February 2021. Before that, they served as the Director of Finance at the International Association of Lighting Designers from September 2018 to February 2021. In this role, they provided financial and investing information to the CEO and Board of Directors and managed various finance-related aspects of the organization. Prior to that, Bill was the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis at the American Academy of Pediatrics from an unspecified start date in 2007 until September 2018. In this position, they focused on providing exceptional customer service, preparing financial board presentations, and analyzing monthly variances. Before joining the American Academy of Pediatrics, Bill worked as a Senior Analyst at AT&T from 2004 to 2007, where they conducted financial impact analysis and profitability assessments. Bill also has experience as a Senior Credit Analyst at Stepan Company from 1997 to 2001, a Credit Analyst at GBC from 1994 to 1997, and a Sr Savings Counselor at Home Savings of America from 1992 to 1994, during which they performed financial analysis, credit assessments, and customer service duties.

Bill Beers completed their Bachelor of Science degree in International Relations from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they studied from 1987 to 1991. Later, they pursued a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Finance from the Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University between 2000 and 2002.
