Whitney Meyerhoeffer

Whitney Meyerhoeffer, MPA, CAE, serves as the Director of Communications and Chapter Relations at the American Mental Health Counselors Association since January 2014, where strategic leadership and data analysis drive organizational growth and chapter engagement. Prior experience includes roles as a Strategic Content Editor at Venture Interactive, overseeing multilingual product development for prominent firms, and as the Public Relations and Volunteer Program Director at Kindred Healthcare, where innovative programs significantly increased volunteer participation. Additionally, Whitney has a background in communications management at Trae Turner Creative Communications, disaster response coordination with the American Red Cross, and research on youth coping mechanisms during their tenure at Virginia Commonwealth University. Whitney holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Virginia Tech and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Spanish from Virginia Commonwealth University.
