William Mathews

William Mathews has extensive experience in the energy industry, having held various legal leadership roles throughout their career. William most recently served as the Senior Vice President, Chief Legal Officer, General Counsel, and Secretary at American Midstream Partners since November 2009. Prior to that, they were the VP and General Counsel at Foothills Energy Ventures, where they played a key role in developing the Monroe Gas Storage Project. William has also served as the General Counsel at Bear Paw Energy and as the Assistant General Counsel at Oneok. Earlier in their career, they held the position of VP & General Counsel at Duke Energy Field Services.

William Mathews obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder between 1970 and 1975. William then pursued a Juris Doctor degree in Law from the University of Denver - Sturm College of Law, completing it between 1978 and 1981. William'searlier education includes attending Redwood High from 1966 to 1970, however, no degree or field of study was specified for this period.
