American Mock Trial Association
Laura Ashley Tatem is a dedicated student and emerging professional with experience in governmental and legal settings. Currently serving as Parliamentary Staff at the House of Commons, Laura actively communicates with constituents and supports research for election initiatives. As a Student Assistant at Carolina Student Legal Services Inc., responsibilities include managing office tasks and shadowing legal staff. American Mock Trial Association
The American Mock Trial Association was founded in 1985 by Dean Richard Calkins of Drake Law School. AMTA serves as the governing body for intercollegiate mock trial on a national level, which teaches public speaking, critical thinking, and teamwork through a legal forum.
