Kamalesh Jha is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the insurance industry, currently serving as Chief Underwriting Officer at American Modern Insurance Group since May 2020. Previously, Kamalesh held several senior leadership roles at Assurant from August 2015 to May 2020, including Senior Vice President of Flood & Voluntary Homeowners and Vice President of Flood Solutions. Prior to Assurant, Kamalesh was Vice President of Flood Product at Bankers Insurance Group and also served in various product management and leadership positions at Farmers Insurance from June 2005 to March 2014. Kamalesh began a career at Wipro Technologies as a Project Leader from 1999 to 2004. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, BHU, an M.B.A. in Marketing and Product Management from USC Marshall School of Business, corporate education in Business Administration and Management from Hult Ashridge, and ongoing Executive Education at INSEAD.
