David Wood

David Wood is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the utilities sector, currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Transmission Planning and Development at American Municipal Power, Inc. Previous roles include Senior Manager at Actalent, Director of Utility Consulting Services at Schneider Electric, and various positions at Austin Energy, including Sr. Vice President and Vice President of Electric Service Delivery. David also has engineering experience from TU Electric, serving as both Plant Engineer and Laboratory Supervisor, as well as Transmission Planning Engineer.
