Lauren Edgar Kushner

Lauren Edgar Kushner is a seasoned 3D visualization artist with extensive experience in the animation and visual effects industry. Currently serving as a Staff 3D Animator at the American Museum of Natural History since September 2016, Kushner creates digital animations that enhance museum exhibits as part of the Science Visualization Group. Previous roles include positions as a Freelance 3D Lighting Artist at R/GA and Artjail, a Maya Generalist at Method Studios, and a CG Supervisor at Gradient Effects, where work encompassed high-profile projects for clients such as GE, Microsoft, and NBC. With a solid educational background including a Master’s degree in Digital Imaging and Design from New York University and a Bachelor’s degree in Theater from Brown University, Kushner has demonstrated a comprehensive skill set in 3D artistry, lighting, and animation across various platforms and industries.
