Roberto A. Mignone is the Vice Chairman at American Museum of Natural Roberto'story. Roberto has also worked as a Laboratory Assistant at City University of New York-Brooklyn College and as a Summer Intern at MetroPlus Health Plan.
Mignone has always been interested in natural history and conservation. Roberto started their career as a NYA Admissions & Guest Service Member at Wildlife Conservation Society, where they facilitated entry and navigated guests that enter the park, and its attractions. Roberto also handled all ticket inquiries and answered questions about the aquarium.
In 2018, Mignone began working as a Laboratory Assistant at City University of New York-Brooklyn College. There, they collected field samples and tested soil samples from DEP, DEC, and neighborhood samples under the direction of the lab manager. Roberto also performed different tests such as dry and wet sieving, Ph and salts, Hydraulic, NPK tests. Roberto documented and kept record of hundreds of samples during their time there.
In 2016 and 2018, Mignone worked as a Summer Intern at MetroPlus Health Plan. During their internship, they gained experience in the healthcare field and learned about insurance plans and coverage options.
Mignone’s experience in natural history, conservation, customer service, and administration make him an ideal candidate for the Vice Chairman position at American Museum of Natural Roberto'story. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing the operations of the museum and ensure that it runs smoothly. Roberto also works closely with the Board of Trustees to develop long-term plans for the museum.
Roberto A. Mignone received a Master of Science in Environmental Science from Brooklyn College and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Brooklyn College.
