Shun Ahmed is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in mentorship, program development, and community engagement. Currently serving as the Head Mentor and Program Director at ADROIT since August 2021, Shun has led significant growth in student participation and diversified funding through innovative fundraising initiatives. As Development Coordinator for the American Muslim Advisory Council, Shun has successfully organized youth internship programs and managed grants. Additional roles include Field Coordinator for Tech Goes Home TN, Community Engagement Coordinator for Freddie O'Connell's mayoral campaign, and Data, Learning, and Impact Manager at Conexion Americas, where Shun enhanced data analytics for multiple programs. Shun also has experience as an intern for District 17 Councilman Colby Sledge and as a Software Developer with Vanderbilt University Medical Center, contributing to noteworthy projects in both technology and diversity planning. Shun holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Science with a focus on Engineering Management from Vanderbilt University.
