Linda Cobo

Linda Cobo has extensive work experience in the mortgage and banking industry. Linda started their career at Countrywide KB Home Loans in 2004 as a Senior Processor. Linda then worked at Bear Stearns as a Quality Assurance Coordinator in 2007 before joining Draper and Kramer as a Senior Mortgage Processor in 2008. Linda then moved to Premier Nationwide Lending in 2009, where they held roles such as Closing CSR and CSR-Processor, collaborating with underwriters and brokers on loan approvals and clearance. In their most recent role at Premier Nationwide Lending, they served as an Investor Relations professional, reviewing loan documents, analyzing data, and clearing audits successfully.

In 2014, Linda continued their career with Premier Nationwide Lending and took on the position of Collateral Specialist, coordinating the delivery of original notes to warehouse banks and working with various investors to ensure swift purchases in the secondary market. Linda also served as a Post Closing Project Specialist Support Team member, providing support for log in requests and updating sales contact information and rate sheets.

In 2017, Linda joined Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation as a Post Closing Concierge, handling various support tasks. Linda also served as a Product Strategy Post Closing specialist, communicating with multiple departments to ensure smooth product launches and reporting changes in post-closing procedures to leadership.

In 2021, Linda moved to Mr. Cooper as a Suspense Representative II - Non Delegated, and in 2022, they joined Opendoor as a Senior Mortgage Post Closer, providing support for lenders, underwriters, and management in reviewing closed loan packages and ensuring accuracy and timely resolutions.

Currently, Linda is working as a Compliance Manager at American National Bank of Texas, starting their position in 2022.

Linda Cobo attended Texas A&M University from 1998 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English. Additionally, in January 2023, they obtained certifications in "BSA/AML The Basics" and "Fair Lending: Basic Topics & Terms" from BAI Mortgage Services.
