James Stelling

James Stelling is an experienced insurance executive currently serving as President of Medical Stop-Loss at Core Specialty Insurance Holdings, Inc. since December 2023. Stelling has held various leadership positions at American National since May 2002, including Executive Vice President of Health Insurance and Specialty Markets Group Operations, as well as roles focused on health insurance operations and compliance. Prior to this, Stelling served as Assistant Vice President and Compliance Attorney/Manager at American National from January 1999 to May 2001, and worked as a Compliance Attorney at Conseco Insurance from January 1996 to January 1998. Stelling holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (1991-1994) and a degree from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay (1986-1991).
