Lama Mahmoud is an experienced professional with a diverse background in education, outreach, and program management. Currently serving as an Outreach and Communication Officer at SE Factory, Lama focuses on building relationships with partner organizations and executing collaborative events to enhance program visibility. As a Life Skills Trainer at Anera, Lama empowers youth through essential skill development, while also supervising on-the-job training and ensuring successful internship placements. Previous roles include serving as an Education Field Coordinator at Anera, and a member of the Advocacy Board for the Youth Leadership Program with UNDP, where Lama facilitated community engagement initiatives. Anera (American Near East Refugee Aid) advances the well-being of refugees, families and poor communities in Palestine and Lebanon. Through partnerships and close consultation with local groups and communities, Anera responds to economic, health and educational needs with sustainable solutions and also delivers humanitarian aid during emergencies. Incorporated in 1968 to help ease the suffering of Palestinian refugees after the Arab-Israeli War of 1967, Anera is non-political and non-religious and is one of the largest American non-profits working solely in the Middle East for almost 50 years.
