Celess Tartaglione-Tyrell has extensive work experience in online learning and innovation in the nursing field. Celess started as an Editorial Intern at Slack Inc. in 2005 and then joined Anthony J. Jannetti, Inc. in the same year, where they held multiple roles such as Program Manager and Education Services Coordinator for the American Nephrology Nurses Association (ANNA). In 2018, they became the Director of Online Learning and Innovation at both the American Nephrology Nurses Association (ANNA) and the Gerontological Advanced Practice Nurses Association (GAPNA).

Celess Tartaglione-Tyrell obtained a Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature, General from Rowan University from 2001 to 2005. In addition, Celess obtained a certification as a Digital Event Strategist (DES) from the Virtual Edge Institute in December 2015.
