Douglas Mudd

Douglas Mudd is an experienced curator and museum director at the American Numismatic Association since June 2004, with a focus on budget and strategic planning, as well as the development and management of the ANA Money Museum’s exhibition program since June 2013. Prior to this role, Mudd served as the Collection Manager at the Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of American History from March 1991 to May 2004, overseeing the National Numismatic Collection's security, care, and storage, and handling various responsibilities including cataloging, exhibit coordination, and public engagement. Mudd holds a Master’s degree in American History with New Media Studies from George Mason University and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from William & Mary.
