Nancy Cardinale-Lower

Nancy Cardinale-Lower, MPA, currently serves as the Director of Compliance and Privacy Officer at American Oncology Network, LLC, a position held since January 2019. Prior to this role, Nancy was a Privacy & HIM Specialist at Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute from January 2019 to March 2021 and served as the Privacy Operations Manager at Springfield Clinic from September 2010 to September 2014. Nancy has extensive experience in HIPAA privacy compliance, focusing on patient rights, addressing privacy concerns, and investigating security breaches. Earlier in their career, Nancy worked as a recruiter at PDS Technical Services and as a legal assistant at the State of Illinois Appellate Defender's Office. Nancy holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration and Legal Studies from the University of Illinois Springfield.
