Brittany Nelson

Brittany Nelson is a seasoned meetings and events professional with extensive experience in sales and event management. Currently serving as Meeting Event Manager at the American Optometric Association since January 2023, Brittany previously held the position of Sales Manager at French Lick Resort from June 2019 to January 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Sales Manager at Sonesta Hotels and Marriott Hotels, as well as a Sales (Coordinator-Sales Manager) position at Drury Hotels. Brittany began in the industry as an Events Intern with Cosmopolitan Events in 2010. Brittany holds a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communications from the University of Missouri-Columbia, earned in 2012.
