Deirdre Middleton has had a diverse work experience in the field of communications. Deirdre started their career at Ketchum in 2000, where they worked as Vice President/Group Manager until 2015. During this time, they gained valuable expertise in managing and leading communication teams. In 2015, they joined the American Academy of PAs as Vice President of Communications and Media Relations. After a year, they transitioned to the American Optometric Association as Director of Strategic and Advocacy Communications. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Communications Officer at the American Optometric Association.
Deirdre Middleton completed their high school education from 1990 to 1994 at Hillsborough High School, where they were enrolled in the International Baccalaureate Program. Later, from 1994 to 1998, they pursued their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Psychology at the University of Florida.
