Kirsten Ellis is a seasoned frontend web developer currently employed at the American Optometric Association since July 2018. Prior to this role, Kirsten served as a Publications Editor for Online University-wide Curriculum at Washington University in St. Louis from March to May 2018. Kirsten's extensive experience at Saint Louis University School of Medicine spanned from June 1994 to June 2017, where responsibilities included coordinating and executing web projects as a Web Admin and overseeing website efforts for various departments as a Web Developer. Additionally, Kirsten was an active member of the SLU committee for web development, known as "T Squared."

The American Optometric Association represents approximately 39,000 doctors of optometry, optometry students and paraoptometric assistants and technicians.
