Dr. Dan Weberg, PhD, MHI, RN, FAAN, currently serves as the National Executive Director of Nursing Workforce Development and Innovation at Kaiser Permanente, focusing on national nursing workforce strategy. As the owner/principal of DrNursedan.com since 2007, Dr. Weberg has also contributed to academia as a Clinical Assistant Professor at The Ohio State University College of Nursing, where the Masters in Healthcare Innovation Program was founded. Additional roles include faculty positions in various nursing leadership programs, such as the American Organization for Nursing Leadership, the University of Calgary, and the Coldiron Senior Nurse Executive Fellowship Program. Dr. Weberg has held previous leadership roles, including Vice President of Transformation Services at Ascension and Head of Clinical Innovation at Trusted Health. With a strong educational background from Arizona State University, Dr. Weberg specializes in complexity leadership and its impact on innovation in healthcare.
