Brian D. Murphy

Brian D. Murphy is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. As the President and CEO of American Outdoor Brands Inc. since December 2016, Brian also serves as a Director and previously led the Outdoor Products & Accessories Division. Notable prior positions include Vice President of Corporate Development at Vista Outdoor Inc. and Director of Mergers & Acquisitions at Orbital ATK. An influential figure in the industry, Brian served on the Board of Regents for the American Knife & Tool Institute from October 2018 to January 2020. Additionally, Brian authored the award-winning book "See Mix Drink," which gained international recognition. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a focus on Finance and Entrepreneurial Management from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management.
